Terms of Service
Last updated: June 28, 2026
By accessing or using viewparquet (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is provided by Kaladev Digital Private Limited ("we," "us," or "our").
The Service
viewparquet is a browser-based tool for inspecting and querying Parquet and related file formats, with an optional AI assistant for generating and explaining SQL. Features may change over time. We may add, modify, or discontinue functionality without prior notice.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the files you open and any SQL or AI prompts you run.
- You must have the right to use and analyze any data you load into the Service.
- You must not use the Service to violate applicable law or third-party rights.
- You must not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the Service.
- You must not include secrets, credentials, or personal data in AI prompts or support messages unless you are permitted to share them with your chosen providers.
AI features and third-party providers
AI features are optional and BYOK-only. They require you to supply your own API key. Keys are stored in your browser, and AI requests are sent directly from your browser to the provider you configure, such as OpenRouter or a supported direct model provider.
You are responsible for your provider account, billing, compliance with provider terms, and the data you choose to send to AI features. We do not guarantee provider availability, pricing, usage limits, data retention, or model output. You control what dataset context is shared via in-app data-sharing settings. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy of query results, AI-generated SQL, or suitability for production decisions. You use outputs at your own risk. Always review generated SQL before running it on sensitive data.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, business interruption, or charges incurred with third-party AI providers.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. Client-side file processing is a core design principle of the product.
